New Americans’ Hall of Fame
Somali Bantu and other refugees we serve have begun applying for and achieving U.S. Citizenship! The Citizenship testing process includes a personal interview, a written test, and an American civics test. After 5 years living in the United States, refugees are eligible to apply for their American citizenship.
Congratulations to our former refugee students & community members who recently became naturalized American Citizens! We celebrate your tremendous achievement, as well as the perseverance, resilience, and hard work that propelled you on your journey towards becoming a new American Citizen.
